Get the Required Forms: Upon reaching the LIC branch office, you should approach the policy servicing department of the branch office and talk to the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) of LIC. Now you should get the required form to update mobile number and email ID in the policies.

Update Mobile Number in policy through online method
Open the Official Website of LIC: To update the mobile number through online method, first of all you have to go to the official website of LIC www.licindia.in. So first of all open this website in your device.

Login to the Customer Portal: Once you open the official website of LIC, you should click on the Login Button of LIC. As soon as you do this, you need a login ID and password to login.
If you do not have a login ID and password, then first of all you will have to register. Only after this you will be able to update your mobile number and email ID.

Update Mobile Number and Email: Now you should enter your new mobile number and email ID and click on the button to verify.

If your Mobile Number is not registered in your policy, then it is not possible to complete this process through online method at present. Download the form: To complete this task, you will need a form. This form is called LIC's Contact Detail Form. You can download this form by clicking on the button given below.
Fill the Form Carefully: Once you download this form, get it printed and then fill this form carefully and accurately. While filling this form, you have to write the Name of your Branch Office, Policy Numbers of Your All policies, Mobile Number, your PIN Code, Email ID and your name mentioned in the policy. Enter all this information as per your respective policies and sign the form the same way you did while buying the Insurance Policy.
Collect the Documents: Once your form is completely filled, arrange this form along with your Aadhar card photostat copy and photocopy of receipt of each policy together and take clear photos of all the documents. After this, attach all the documents and keep them in an envelope.

Find the Address of LIC Branch Office: Now when you have arranged all the documents, you have to find out the full address and email ID of your Home Branch (the Branch Office of LIC from where you have bought the policy). So that you can write the address of the Home Branch of LIC on the envelope and send the email.
